Welcome to the North Midlands & Eastern Counties Cocker Spaniel Club
The North Midlands & Eastern Counties Cocker Spaniel Club was founded in 1948.
Our Aim today is to promote and protect the future of our lovable, loyal breed; to promote the breeding of healthy dogs free from hereditary disease and especially to welcome, encourage and help newcomers to the world of dog showing.
Our committee has a wealth of knowledge and years of experience on every aspect of the Cocker Spaniel.
We are here to help and advise on breeding, whelping, trimming and showing, finding the right stud dog and also the availability of puppies from reputable breeders.
The Society holds two open shows annually, one in July at Kegworth Village Hall, DE74 2FH, and the other in November at the Speedwell Rooms, Staveley, S43 3JL where our amazing committee produce a wonderful home cooked Christmas Luncheon which is thoroughly enjoyed by our exhibitors. Due to the Kennel Club rotational system, we hold a Championship show bi annually at the end of February and we welcome all exhibitors old and new to all our shows.
